Why the 360° lessons need a newer phone: they stream a wrap-around video your phone has to hold entirely in graphics memory. Phones with only 2 GB of RAM (like the iPhone 8) run out of memory and the lesson closes itself — even though everything else works. That's exactly what the test below checks for.
